Eco Guard

About us

Modern response to real environmental problems

Eco Guard is a project we are implementing in the Gmina Kobylanka to address a very specific problem — the burning of prohibited materials and the lack of fast, reliable verification of reports concerning air quality. Instead of more appeals and posters, we propose a system of action. A resident can report suspected improper emissions through an application, attaching a photo and location. The report is then sent to the system, analyzed, and subsequently verified in the field using a drone equipped with air quality sensors. As a result, decisions are based on data, and the response is faster and more effective.

The project has a developmental and demonstrative character. It shows that modern technologies can genuinely support local governments and communities in anti-smog efforts. Eco Guard combines social responsibility, technology, and education into a practical response tool — not just declarations.

How Eco Guard works

Eco Guard is based on a clear and structured process that combines resident activity with data analysis and field verification. The system is designed to ensure that every report is handled efficiently, transparently, and based on measurable data.

Resident Reports

The process begins with the resident. Reporting suspected improper emissions is done through a short, intuitive form with the option to attach a photo and the exact location of the incident. This ensures that the information includes key data needed for further assessment from the very beginning.

Data Analysis and Server System

The report is then sent to the server system, where it is registered and analyzed. The data is organized, allowing the system to assess the scale and urgency of the situation and to plan any necessary field actions in a structured rather than random manner.

Drone as a Mobile Monitoring Station

The final stage is field verification. In selected cases, a drone equipped with air quality sensors is used, serving as a mobile monitoring station. This allows for contactless, precise measurement of air parameters and enables further decisions to be based on real data rather than assumptions.

Technology, data, and community in one system for responding to air pollution.
