Drone
A drone, also known as an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), is operated remotely by a specialized pilot.

Our drone will be built using a 3D printer, which we have at school – Omni200.
To print our drone, we will use the Blender modeling program.

DesignSpark Mechanical is free 3D modeling software developed by RS Components in collaboration with SpaceClaim. It is designed to enable engineers, designers, and hobbyists to quickly and efficiently create 3D models.

We will use it to design our own drone!

The Arduino board will serve as the drone’s brain. It will store the software that allows the drone to function properly.
Drone Equipment and Functionality
- GPS system for smooth and safe aerial navigation.
- Special sensors to analyze smoke composition emitted from chimneys.
- Arduino board containing the drone’s software.

How does it work?
In our EcoGuard application, residents will be able to report households suspected of burning toxic materials, such as plastic, rubber, or fabrics.
The information will be sent to a server and reviewed by an operator. If the report is verified, the drone will be dispatched to the designated location.
The drone will collect data and check the level of air pollution in the area. If necessary, the system will recommend further verification of the household.
